Our Client is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager - Sub Saharan Africa Region
This is a Contract role under Manpower ME.
Duration: ASAP until end of July 2018
Responsibilities:
-Be the primary point-of-contact for partners around all key areas (business growth optimization, training, product enhancement) and lead cross-functional efforts to identify and solve any roadblocks.
-Create relationships with partners at all levels in the partner organization (including executives, direct and indirect sales teams).
-Execute on strategic initiatives for partners and the wider partner digital ecosystem
-Maintain a thorough understanding of the Google Monetization suite and its competitive advantages by actively monitoring the competitive landscape and providing feedback to product development teams.
-Own the book of business and achieve business growth goals on the partner portfolio of SSA publishers.
-Work with cross functional global, regional and country teams e.g. product, engineering, legal, operations, finance, gTech, Dev Rel, Marketing, PR/Comms, on the above.

Minimum Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
-Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
-Knowledge and experience working with the Google Monetization suite
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience and understanding of the Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) region and countries and willingness to travel to and around the region.
-Experience in sales management, business development or partner management in a consulting firm, Internet, media, broadcaster, software platform or consumer electronics company ideally in the SSA region.
-Experience with client presentations, strategic execution and working in ambiguity.
-Experience of interacting and building relationships with senior-level executives and mid-level managers.
-Understanding of online advertising (i.e. ad serving, networks, and key platforms) and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video, news, publishing and broadcasting industry).
-Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
