o Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
o Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
o Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
o Identify, analyze and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets.
o Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
o Undertake pre-processing of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
o Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms and combine models through ensemble modeling.
o Employ sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive and prescriptive modeling
o Designing the solution for processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
o Doing Ad-Hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
o Data mining using the latest tools available for data gathering and extraction.
o Extending company’s data with third party sources of information whenever needed (based on approvals, business case and post security team clearances).
o Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
o Identify opportunities to improve productivity via sophisticated statistical modeling
o Explore data sources to identify opportunities to improve business reports and statistics projections
o In depth understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem.
