The Business

A leading international IPP Developer.

They are part of a larger group that generate $bn revenues globally across their diversified portfolio. This business units focus is renewable projects above 50MW and gas power projects.

Their UAE office is focusing on projects in the Middle East and Africa.

The Opportunity:
To support their expansion strategy, they are looking to hire 2 Business Developers.

The Business Developers will be responsible for developing and identifying projects of 50MW+ across the Middle East and Africa.

They will lead the techno-commercial negotiations, leading the tender and bidding stages, PPA negotiations, permitting and financial close.

The ultimate objective is to develop a strong portfolio of assets across the Middle East and Africa for the business.

Candidate Criteria:

Recognized Engineering or Commercial Bachelors’ Degree.

Flexible for regular travel across Africa and the Middle East.

5+ years’ experience for the mid-level role and 10+ years’ experience for the senior role.

Proven experience in the IPP sector as a Business Developer.

Strong experience in structuring techno-commercial deals in the energy sector.
