About the role:
The primary role of the Strategic Innovations Leader is to provide passionate, strategic leadership and facilitate the innovation-led growth of the KBR Industrial Services business, specifically within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, digitalization/emerging technologies and process improvement methods. He/she shall have the ability to assess and introduce these in service of KBR performance excellence.
The Strategic Innovations Leader will work closely with the senior management team and staff to support the development and implementation of performance enhancing innovations – specifically; digitalization and asset improvement technologies. In addition, the Innovation Leader will be responsible for supporting strategic and tactical planning, and the development and delivery of compelling value propositions to prospective clients
As the Innovations Leader you will be engaging with current and prospective clients at all levels of the organization and must have developed presentation and public speaking skills.
It will be critical for the Innovations Leader to assess changing client needs and to develop innovative solutions to address their needs, while introducing and implementing available and emerging technologies that differentiate KBR from its competitors.
Role Responsibilities:
• Development of both a short and a long term Innovations Business Development Plan.
• Work with our clients in the targeted markets to identify “pain points” and ways to address them through implementation of innovative solutions
• Search for technology partners who have core capabilities that could complement to KBR Industrial Services offering
• Work with client’s technical/engineering group and KBR/Partners to develop new products
• Aware of current industry trends and opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with competitor’s offerings
• Collaborate with the team to develop the plan of marketing activities (conferences, networking meetings, industry events and etc.)
• Building trust and long-term relationships with our clients
• Developing proposals for our clients
• Must be willing to travel

Skills & Experience
• 5-10 years of delivering digital solutions within process plants with at least 8 years in a similar innovation role
• A result’s orientated, self-starter with strong leadership and motivational skills
• A trustworthy individual who can be a trusted advisor to our clients
• Capable of functioning effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage concurrent activities
• Developed public speaking skills
• Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling and time management
• Prior work experience on technical/innovations roles in companies such as: IBM, Bentley, GE, Honeywell
• Experience in Software Architecture or Digital Solution Design
• Background in Petrochemical / Refinery
Educational Expectations
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
