• Generate new business within the scope of Land Transport by providing supply chain solutions to clients across all industry sectors.
• Support the sales strategy and budget process with focus on Land Transport Business Development
• Do market research to figure out the market requirements for the existing and future services of the company
• Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is
planned in advance.
• Development of customer-related processes for non-standard Land Transport products to ensure competitiveness, profitability of services and customer satisfaction
• Prepare action plans by each Sales Executive as well as by team for effective search of Sales & Marketing guidance and prospects.
• To set and agree sales targets for Transport Sales team.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the Transport Sales Executives.
• Manage the commercial relationship and lead contract negotiations with Clients
• Create and develop SOP’s for strategic accounts in association with other internal departments.
• Represent Land Transport in Meetings and act as trusted advisor externally and internally
• Build and maintain relationship with Transport Service Providers & Government Organizations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the process and meet operational profit and growth targets.
• Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
• Maintain and manage the financial forecast and cost module projections from new business submission.
• Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through airfreight, sea freight, Road freight, value added products and contract logistics.
• Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Freight, Operations and Contract Logistics team.
المهارات
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 10 years of Sales experience - 5 years in Transport Sales with 3 years within GCC & Middle East Cross Border Trucking.
• Experience in developing FTL ,LTL, Car Carrier Transport with sound knowledge of cross boarder documentation and awareness of Local transport rules and regulation.
Skills and Competencies
• In-depth knowledge of Transport Operations
• Knowledge and experience of the tender process Long-term Contracts negotiation
• Advanced computer skills with Transport & Fleet Management Experience
• Extensive Industry/competitor market knowledge
• Ability to close deals and show solution solving and analytical skills
• Proven negotiation skills
• Excellent communicator
• Highly motivated with a strong passion for business development
• Ability to work with diverse teams across the business
• English and Arabic communication skills.
Driving License: UAE Driving is mandatory
