Our client is a Dubai based company who are seeking a MIS Analyst to join their expanding team. They are looking to hire someone who can provide management with regular reporting on profitability, inventory and business insider materials. Support management and finance department to improve both the short-term and the long-term profitability and value of the business. Strengthen regional financial discipline by applying greater scrutiny and control of key financial metrics consistent with our clients’ strategic direction. Actively engage in strategic, tactical and operational decision making to help improve the value and profitability of our client. Combine analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze reports and forecasts. Our clients’ working week is Monday-Friday not Sunday to Thursday.
Description:
• Review and report Sales, Inventory and overheads in the MIS
• Prepare monthly and quarterly information packages
• Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements
• Master strategic business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques
• Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to management
• Develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
• Ensure availability and integrity of monthly financial data
• Identify key issues and trends
• Interact with various functions to analyze information affecting the financial results
• Conduct analytical studies aimed at improving business performance
• Oversee cost management to align with Corporate guidelines: Manage cost reduction programs throughout the organization
• Track and analyze monthly spend and identifies potential areas for optimization and efficiencies (inventory turnover, wastage reduction, power consumption)
المهارات
Criteria:
• 2-5 years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience in a similar role
• Must have excellent spoken and written English, French or German an advantage
• Experience in a fast paced, operations and manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of accounting systems, in-depth proficiency in MS Office applications
• Bachelor’s Degree & CPA/ CA
• Must currently reside in the UAE
