Our client is one of the Middle East’s well-established and large scale IT operation and development program, developing IT solutions for their Airline and Airports as well as selling IT solutions and products to other airlines.
As Senior Business Analyst your responsibilities would include:
Understand the business strategy of assigned business unit(s) and to translate strategies into IT initiatives to ensure that the LOB system landscape aligns with Business and IT strategies.Analyze customer business strategies and plans, processes and practices as well as industry trends and make recommendations in quantifiable terms on where IT system changes could produce benefits such as reduction in unit cost of operation, enhanced productivity and improved decisionsProvides a consulting service to the business by utilizing domain expertise and recommend initiatives where IT could add value through high level enterprise information management and business intelligence solution design.?Understands the business strategy and work with the relationship managers to develop initiatives and present them to decision makers within the customer business unit.?Solicit and evaluate business requests to determine cost feasibility research and identify options and recommend solutions that best serve business needs across the enterprise.?Monitor changes in the IT domain and in the customers’? business environment
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
8+ Years Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar capacity in related Business areas, with in-depth experience in the transportation industry.A proven track record in business system analysis is preferredJob Specific Competencies:Customer Service OrientationOrganizing for ResultsAdaptability and InnovationLeadershipProblem Solving and Decision MakingInfluence and NegotiationProficient in ‘Design Thinking’ tools & techniques to discover business problems and opportunities.Well versed with integration methodologies and API design methodologiesProcess modeling as part of Business Process Reengineering InitiativesAble to develop and validate business cases to make sure that the priorities are driven by business valueCandidate should have expertise in one of the following areas: Portfolio planning and product management in Airline industry. This should include both commercial and operational domain areas.Candidate must demonstrate strong understanding of Merchandising, Shopping and Pricing of Flight as well as other lifestyle products and services. Revenue optimization principles and models, and be able to design cutting edge solutions with automation of these model.
