Our client is one of the Middle East’s well-established and large scale IT operation and development program, developing IT solutions for their Airline and Airports as well as selling IT solutions and products to other airlines.
As Senior Technical Engineer - Software Development your responsibilities would include:
To design & Support IT solutions for the Group. Working as part of a design & support team, the Senior Technical Engineer will design, develop, support and deliver robust and cost effective solutions for both Business and IT led initiatives including solution development and cost estimations, configuration and deployment & Business Case development & approval.To support, contribute and ensure solution compliance to the architecture, production processes, and other IT standardsTo support, contribute and ensure development of the roadmap of the concerned technology roadmap aligning with IT strategy.Able to break down complex technical problems into simple, implementable solutions.Maintain a full and complete understanding of solution interdependencies and limitationsHelp realize practical and robust App architecture on the iOS platformSupport and control the technical factors related to the resilience, performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationGuide technical features being delivered to support non-functional requirements.Ensure and control code quality and development level testing.Performance of code reviews and implementation review sessions.
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
Degree in a subject relevant to IT Experience7 years of specialized technical experience, within a business IT environment.Knowledge CMMI and ITIL frameworks.Development technologies J2EE, Spring, JSF, Hibernate, MQ, XML, Web Services, JavaScript etc., in an Enterprise environment nd GUI Technologies /Web/Think Client¥ Server: Core Java, Java EE (EJB 2/3, JMS, WebServices), Spring, SOA, Hibernate, Drools, JBPM, Weblogic/JBoss, Oracle , MySQL¥ Thick Client: Core Java, Swing, Spring ¥ Web: Core Java, Spring, JSF/Tapestry/Rich Faces, Servlet, JSP, AJAX, JBoss.NET¥ ASP, .Net 2.0, Scripting-Javascript, HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, ADO.NET, winforms 2.03. Database Design and Implementation - Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and database scripting.Advanced PL/SQL development, performance tuning, Security and Privileges. DB environment optimization.Knowledge on IAS, PHP, ETL, Network and I/O related conceptsEnterprise Application Integration Ð JBoss, TIBCO, ETL, Middleware transformation technologies, Messaging/MQ/MSMQ, SOA/WebServicesALCS or TPF Assembler¥ Mainframe data and CICS transactions¥ TPFDF, SPMs (Structured Programming Macros), IBM Assembler (S/390)Departure Control System (DCS)Check in, Weight and Balance, Immigration (API, AQQ, APP), Inter airline through check in (IATCI), Reservations (RES), Edifact and Teletype, Availability , Inventory, Schedule, Fare Quote and Ticketing (FQT), Interline Electronic Ticketing (IET), Pricing, Ticketing, Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD)¥ ALCS systems, ALC, Message Switching, Links1, Offline, T2SE XML scriptingAble mentor development staff on relevant iOS technologies (Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, etc.)In-depth understanding of key iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.In-depth understanding threading and performance tuning of iOS Apps.Experience integrating iOS applications to back-end services and third-party framew
