Assistant Manager - Transmission Protection Inspection & Quality

ASSISTANT MANAGER – TRANSMISSION PROTECTION INSPECTION & QUALITY
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Approximate 5-10 years of which 5 are in managerial positions with formal experience in substation protection design and engineering is essential.
Shall be responsible to clearly define protection scope of the potential project and effectively communicate details and aspects of the tender to the subordinate. Shall ensure timely inspection arrangements (local & overseas) of protection related equipments and review inspection reports of inspected equipment and ascertain timely issuance of dispatch clearance of inspected equipments and oversee the documents control mechanism for all tender documents. Shall have excellent analytic skills to review project parameter reports, study technical requirements of scope and tender and examine the technical / commercial aspects of the requirements. Shall proactively meet with potential bidders and assist tendering department during post tender clarifications and negotiations with bidders. Preferred candidate shall have inherent capability to multi task effectively and efficiently. Shall have excellent supervisory skills. Shall possess excellent skills to prioritize the work load and shift attention among changing tasks and priorities. Should have ability to exhibit sound and accurate judgment and decisions and communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, spoken and written. Candidate should have strong planning, forecasting, analytical, and organizational and problem solving skills and advanced coordination and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in written and spoken English language in priority.
