Job Purpose:
We are looking for an ambitious General Accountant (GA - 513) to be part of Finance Team in Dubai.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Finalization of accounts on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis.
• Preparing Monthly MIS and ad hoc reports.
• Preparing Annual Budget after liaising with other departments.
• Preparing Department-wise Costing Analysis.
• Preparing Project profitability reports.
• Preparing forecasted Cash flow statement.
• Management of Monthly Cash flow.
• Handling Accounts Payable and GL Accounting.
• Maintaining schedules of Depreciation, Prepayments, and Accrued Expenses.
• Liaison with HR on reports for Employee Monthly Accruals.
• Maintaining Fixed Asset Register.
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
• Reconciliation of Intercompany transactions and liaison with branch offices in KSA and Egypt.
• Handling Petty Cash replenishment.
• Coordination with bank for various bank related tasks.
• Handling VAT filing and payments. Adherence to Group Financial policy.
• Coordination for Annual Audit.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of UAE experience in similar role.
• ACCA / ACMA / M.COM / MBA (Accounting & Finance).
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical, Able to work in dynamic structure.
• Reporting to Finance Director
