Reporting to the Design and Build Lead for our Middle East Region as Senior Project Design Manager you will be responsible for the planning and management of the overall delivery of Design and Build (D&B;) rail projects across the Middle East. You will be covering a broad scope of services that we offer to our clients from concept, design and construction tenders and delivery, to looking at forging Public Private Partnership alliances for transport infrastructure projects. In your position you will help to: - • Develop and implement Project Execution Plans • Report and forecast on cost and resource management • Provide management of contracts including review, negotiations and agreement • Manage internal project teams and sub-consultants • Manage the project risks closely with the contractor • Collaborate with our global integrated delivery teams • Manage and develop client relationships
Here’s What You’ll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline, and you will be able to demonstrate a diverse range of experience covering project and design management on complex design and build multidisciplinary rail and transit projects exceeding the value of $1 billion. Knowledge of the Middle East environment and rail transportation industry is highly desirable. You’ll need strong communication and presentation skills to help convey technical and operational solutions to both our senior leadership as well as our clients.
