Improving all processes, systems and equipment in the Molding Department to achieve production goals. Provide technical support to molding operations and ensure that a consistent process is followed. Individuals are responsible for performing essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.Responsibilities::Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Perform start and/or restart of equipment (molding machines, support equipment)Visually inspect molds, machines and support equipment for worn parts or safety hazardsAssess mold processes to assure optimum cycle times vs. standards while maintaining efficient quality performancesTroubleshoot processes, systems and equipment to improve efficienciesPerform cleaning and lubrication of molds and equipment as needed or directedSafely remove purge from molding machinesTest sample resins and colors as requiredPerform minor maintenance repairs.Responsible for system monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting operational problems, making repairs and performing preventive maintenance activities.Oversee and enforce safety and quality standards.Make necessary adjustments to machines and auxiliary equipment.
المهارات
Knowledge in various types of Plastics Machinery and Related Support Equipment.Must be able to use the correct measures to return machines and equipment to their manufacturing operational condition within a reasonable amount of time. This includes being able to troubleshoot and repair from OEM schematics.Knowledge on Specialized Equipment (i.e.) Robotics, Molding Machines and Programming.Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve injection end problems.5 years of experience
