Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, management, execution. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of standard Project Management Methodology.

You will

Help with Assurance support activities
Assist with Problem management

These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.

Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life cycle.

To be successful in the role you are

Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or
5-7 years’ experience of deploy system test and lead testing team.

Must have managed at least 10 ORACLE instances as Primary DBA

Should have worked on High availability techniques like RAC / ASM / DataGuard/MS-SQL replications.

Should have hands-on experience on GRID CONTROL.

Must have worked on disaster recovery scenarios

Must have Proficiency in Oracle/SQL Server Backup and Recovery

Must have hands-on experience on RMAN.

Must have knowledge in scheduling CRONTAB entries in Unix.

Should have worked in more than one OS platform preferably on Unix flavor and Windows.

Must have experience in managing global databases

Supporting mission critical database environments which include VLDB Oracle databases, with 24x7 limited downtime availability

You should also have

OCP/OCA/ITIL/MCP Certification will be an added advantage

Knowledge on writing Shell scripts will be an added advantage
