Job Description:
The candidate will be part of the Product engineering team to develop the Mainframe Modernization tools and utilities. As a Mainframe expert the candidate reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system. Maintains and develops online and batch application programs. He develops and implements a disaster recovery plan. He works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts. Healso works on projects of medium to high complexity in a support role. Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.
The IBM Mainframe System Programmer installs, tests, and maintains the z/OS operating system, and related IBM and third-party software products.
Job Responsibilities:
The candidate should have general knowledge of the operation of and problem-resolution for most vendor-provided mainframe software. Additionally, the candidate should have in-depth knowledge and experience in one or more specialized areas.
The candidate will contribute to the mainframe migration tools and utilities.

Qualification & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in development, administration and supporting z/OS, CICS, DB2 and related products.
