Roles and Responsibilities
# SHE Management - Implementation of SHE standards based on Regulatory requirements, ISO 45001 & OHSAS 18001 Environmental Aspect & Impact & Health & Safety
# Risk Assessment - Identify / evaluate SHE aspects of the facility, prioritize the significant aspects & set goals for compliance.
# Regulatory requirements - Ensure 100 o;mpliance with regulatory requirements related to Environment, Health & Safety by updating the requirements & keeping track on existing requirements using permit tracking log.
# Emergency Response - Identify the emergencies likely to be arise, Prepare Emergency response procedures & plans & conduct periodic drills.
# SAP- SHE - Implementation & updating documents and activities relating with SHE management system (Risk Assessment, Aspect Impact,SHE manual, On site and off site emergency plan, legal obligation, MRM, OCP, SOP, MSDS, Emergency equipments details & status, Mock drill, all kind of inspection and checklists etc.) on SAP.
# Process Safety - Process Hazard Analysis and Hazard Operability Study of Hazardous processes.
# EHS Inspections - Daily, weekly & quarterly inspections using checklist, preparing audit reports & action plans for compliance & ensure the compliance in the prescribed time limits.Industrial.
# Hygiene assessment - Noise & chemicals exposure of employees during the course of company operations, Evaluate aspects according to assessment & suggest & implement PPE program or Job rotation program.
# Waste water & Air emission Aspects - Monitoring of waste water& air emissions on regular basis & ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
# Waste Management - Waste segregation as Non hazardous, Hazardous, Electronic Waste & Microbiological waste; ensure the proper disposal of waste according to the regulatory requirements. Obtain authorizations required for collection / storage / treatment & disposal of hazardous & Microbiological waste & ensure the compliance with requirements laid down in the authorization. Auditing waste sites to ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste.
# Energy Management - Preparation & tracking of Energy consumption like Fuel, Electricity, Steam & gases. Implement various projects for energy conservation & management. Ensure the sustainable development of the facility.
Water Management: Preparation & tracking of water consumption. Implement various projects for water conservation, recycle & management.
# Drinking water - Periodic testing of drinking water quality as per IS standards.Occupational Health: Employee Health Surveillance, training, Generation of Health profile, ensure proper retention of employee health records.
# Administrative controls - Prepare Standard operating procedures as per EHS requirements.
# Documentation - Environmental Health & Safety documentation as per Regulatory requirements & ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.Responsible all types pollution Control (air, water, noise, soil & Hazardous Waste Management).Responsible for maintenance & handling of all types of fire extinguisher & fire hydrant System. To organize demonstrative Training & classes of fire extinguishers on live fire.Conduct Central Safety Committee Meeting and inspection of Process, Chemical Mechanical & Electrical safety.Liaison with factory inspector and State Pollution Control Board Ministry of Environment and forest, Chief controller of Explosive, Fire officer.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must be from UAE / Dubai Local.
Must be B.E. / B.Tech Mech. / Electrical and diploma in Fire-Safety from reputed institute will be preferred.
Working in SHE Deptt. with any leading FMCG / Cosmetics company.
