The Construction Manager will represent Parsons and the Client on a major road and highways program, involving multiple construction projects in the Northern Emirates. They will be responsible to oversee the Contractors and Consultants during the Project execution. The role is to deliver projects on schedule and within budget, and will periodically oversee the quality and safety standards.
Accordingly, the Construction Manager has the following responsibilities:
Establish communication, reporting and authorization procedures for the project.
Advise and regularly update the Client on the actual progress versus the planned, areas of delays and mitigation measures.
Review contractors and consultant submittals provide additional comments where applicable
Endorse the review and approval/action recommendation by the supervisor. By such endorsement, Client may then confirm that the consultant has fulfilled their responsibility for review and recommendation
Review reports and management plans submitted by the MC and CS
Maintain submittal list and submittal log
Verify accuracy and completeness of records (submittal logs, drawing register, etc.).
Review, monitor, and report on Contractor and Consultant progress
Attend project meetings scheduled and conducted by CS Teams.
Review change order/claim request from Contractor and Consultant and make recommendation to the Client
Advise Client on contractual and construction matters
Carry out and record periodic site quality and safety inspections.
Review Contractor and Consultant completion certificates and make recommendation to Client
Process variations in accordance with Clients Requirements
Prepare monthly reports to Client
Oversee Interface management amongst construction contracts.
Conduct periodic meetings with CS teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a construction related field
25+ years of construction management experience
Construction Management of major roads and highways
Mountainous roads experience an advantage
Arabic language skills
