Business Development Officer - Cargo

JOB PURPOSE

New cargo business development of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Work with the cargo team towards realizing the vision of Ras Al Khaimah Airport as the Regional Logistic Hub of UAE.

• Maintain and develop the airline cargo freighter business.

• Increasing cargo through-put, revenue generation and operational efficiency of cargo terminal working with airlines, freight forwarders, clients and other stakeholders.

• Working on viable options for customers making Ras Al Khaimah International Airport the preferred destination for the business community.

• Cargo Airline Marketing - Increase international connectivity by inviting new airlines to operate/increase frequencies. Prepare a business case for the airlines highlighting the USPs of RAK Airport, cost benefit analysis etc. leading to a win-win proposal.

• Follow up with the local, regional & global offices of the airlines towards commencement of frequencies.

• Assist in increasing other aeronautical & non-aeronautical revenue of the airport development of bonded & non-bonded warehouse. Development of perishables movement, development of pharma Zone.

• Manage relationships, initiating and managing excellent relationships with all the stakeholders of the airport such as customs and other regulatory bodies, airlines, logistics & trading communities.
