Our center is rapidly expanding and we are seeking applications from appropriately qualified professionals wishing to pursue a career in the provision of services to children with special educational needs. Based in Dubai and located in a purpose built center with high quality equipment and resources, the therapists and assistants will be required to work within a highly supportive multi-disciplinary team providing individual, joint and group sessions to children and their families. We are an all-female team, full of passion and willing to go the extra mile. High ethics, a good sense of humor and a bit of quirkiness is essential to join our team. Job responsibility:
• To assist the therapists in delivering an excellent therapy and care service to children with special needs in a private therapy centre setting.
• With guidance to assist teachers & therapists preparing materials for lessons & therapy sessions (cutting, laminating, setting up and tidying resources in a room)
• To Demonstrate a basic undertsnding of Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.
• To organise and prioritise own delegated workload, under supervision of qualified staff, using effective time management skills, responding flexibly to changing priorities. Ensuring that all therapists are aware of organizational systems in place.
• To undertake daily cleaning of the centre in line with centre protocol.
• To undertake daily operational, clerical and housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain the smooth daily running of the departments / centre.
• To attend weekly team meetings.
• To maintain client confidentiality at all times
• To Undertake Administrative tasks when needed.
• To do all work under the guidance of the Head of Departments
