الوصف الوظيفي
To assist the Senior Legal Counsel in providing legal and policy advice on a wide range of legal matters related to Nawah‘s operational business development activities to ensure accordance with the establishment standards of the legal profession.
• Prepare and render legal opinions, draft legal recommendations, develop divisional policies and procedures, draft and review legal agreements between Nawah and external organizations and provide legal assistance in the drafting of Nawah’s legal documents, policies, rules, and regulations, in order to reduce Nawah’s risk and liability and protect its interests
Corporate Governance
• Provide feedback to Senior Legal Counsel regarding Nawah’s legal compliance and any internal and external identified risk, make recommendations on mitigating actions, and advise in its efforts to comment on relevant regulations and respond to existing legal requirements, in order to ensure that Nawah’s corporate governance remain aligned to global best practices
Stakeholder Engagement
• Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships
• Follow all relevant departmental HSE policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee’s place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work.
المهارات
- 10 years of legal experience in a leading international law firm and/or in-house legal team at major international corporation
-Experience in international contract drafting and negotiation
-Experience in general corporate/commercial, projects/project finance, M&A;, commercial properties/energy or oil & gas
-Ability to identify and mitigate legal compliance risks
-Knowledge of legal principles and practices
-Outstanding English written and oral communication
-Ability to work across different functions
