Job Description Our Client, a Multinational manufacturer headquartered in USA, is looking to hire a Purchasing Coordinator. The Purchasing Coordinator will create and maintain meaningful liaison with vendors so as to assure constant procurement of supplies. The role is responsible for determining the amount and type of materials needed for a project and to ensure that they are delivered to the manufacturing unit in a timely fashion. Main Responsibilities 1. Process purchase requests by placing orders for a wide variety of goods and services and reviewing orders for quantity, specifications, delivery requirements, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Process merchandise receipts, returns, credits, and interact extensively with staff and vendors. Requirements The successful candidate should be qualified with Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce or Engineering (Diploma is also acceptable) with minimum three (3) years of experience in buying procurement and inventory management. Should possess strong knowledge of competitive bidding statutes and purchasing procedures along with strong integrity and compliance in business processes. Must be a computer proficient.
