Senior System Engineer

Al Ain Zoo is looking for UAE National Senior System Engineer with Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and experience in System Administration of large-scale Linux/Unix/Windows based environments
Strong Experience of concepts and administration of server operating systems and applications
The Job Role are:
• Installs new/rebuild existing servers and configures hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
• Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts/privileges as per request
