Are you ready to help us make the future? Where Do You Fit In? We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of HSE Manager to be based in Al Ain, UAE. In this role, you will develop, recommend and implement practical, functional approaches to resolve safety, health and environmental issues in support of location strategies for achieving customer satisfaction and regulatory/policy compliance. You will provide advice on safety, health and environmental concerns and work with employees at all organizational levels to affect corrective action strategies as well as serve as an adviser to safety committees. What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day? · Deliver safety, health and environment training on required regulatory, corporate and site-specific topics. · Review current and proposed regulations / corporate requirements and recommend appropriate program measures to ensure compliance. · Serve as the site HSE audit Coordinator to ensure continuous improvement and ongoing certification. · Drive strong HSE integration into HOS “ Honeywell Operation System” across business and site whilst working closely with Regional and Site HOS leaders. · Coordinate loss prevention insurance reviews and associated action plans. Oversee inspection, repairs and maintenance of site alarm, sprinkler and access control systems. Arrange system tests as required by government regulations, NFPA and company requirements. · Utilize six-sigma tools and behaviour-based safety strategies to guide injury prevention efforts. · Facilitate root cause analysis of significant injuries and incidents. Conduct investigations into incidents involving any violations and prepares appropriate written reports. · Conduct internal safety, health and environmental audits to verify compliance levels. Evaluate site HSE management systems, procedures and processes and implement changes to maximize effectiveness. · Develop site specific safety, health, and environment policies / procedures and ensure that requirements are effectively integrated into standard operating procedures. · Provide expertise during concept and design phases of products and manufacturing processes to ensure that sound safety and health control methodologies are integrated in design. Conduct process hazard assessments as warranted. · Perform ergonomic assessments and provide technical guidance to employees to minimize risks associated with material handling, repetitive motion and workstation design. · Review new chemicals from a safety and health perspective and ensures appropriate controls are established prior to introduction into the workplace. · Interface with regulatory and local law enforcement agencies المهارات · B.S. degree in Engineering / Safety Management, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene or related science. · Previous demonstrated progressive experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental Management role, ideally within the PPE production industry · Knowledge of HSE Management systems, familiar with HSE regulations, Crisis & Emergency Response Management. · Six Sigma qualification to at least Green Belt level · Leadership & management skills – skilled in motivation and development of a team - sets high performance standards – provides constructive feedback – drives results.
