Job Description The research assistant works in the Connected Intelligent Autonomous Systems under the supervision of primary researcher who leads the research team. The main duties and responsibilities of the RA: • Carry out experiments and research according to guidelines laid out by the supervisor • Collect and log experimental data • Conduct statistical analyses of data sets • Install testbed, configure and conduct experiments • Write code in C, C++, and Python • Contribute into the writing of papers • Conduct research and literature reviews • Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory
Minimum Qualification The candidate should have the following qualifications: * Bachelor and Master’s degree in computer science or related disciplines * Experience in developing embedded and IoT systems ARM, Linux, Microcontrollers, Sensors, RFID, MCUs * Experience in simulation techniques, security, anti-hacking techniques, etc. * Experience in programming Qt,C/C++, Python, Matlab, Flask, Jason, etc. * Experience with conducting research and publishing scientific papers
Preferred Qualification * Preference is given to candidates accepted or willing to enrol in PhD program in UAE University. * Fluency in English at leat 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent
