Job Description The Veterinary Medicine Department seeks to fill a position at the level of Instructor with primary responsibilities in teaching the laboratory sections of the veterinary paraclinical courses. The instructor’s primary responsibility is to teach the laboratory sections of the following veterinary courses; Parasitology, Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology. In addition, the instructor is expected to advise and mentor veterinary students and support their academic progress. Other responsibilities and assignments include supporting the departmental research and outreach/service activities in addition to university-wide activities.
Minimum Qualification Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine relevant to the desired areas (i.e. Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Parasitology). Excellent English written and communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualification Individuals with a PhD in any of the relevant areas and documented teaching experience at higher education institution level will be preferred. Additional experience in Information Technology (IT), smart learning, and pedagogical development process is a plus.
