Job Description and Requirements
Job Description Laboratory Specialist is involved in educational and research activities. He/she is required to make the use of the time spent in laboratory efficient, meticulous, and safe. Lab specialist takes the responsibility of preparing the lab for teaching and provides technical help for students as well as instructors. It is required from lab specialist to organize laboratories’ chemical and instrument content, understand all safety features, and vigilant to the needs of the lab. Moreover, research activity is an important dimension of the work scope. This requires interaction with faculty members and other researchers to analyze, report, and validate data. Experience in molecular biology is a must.
