Job Description and Requirements
Job Description The successful candidate will be part of the UAEU student Affairs division and will be focused on manipulating and translating data from student information system into key insights reports for decision making. The candidate will collect and use data from multiple sources, and employs data mining, machine learning and predictive modelling to provide insights on students’ patterns. The successful candidate must show a high degree of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality. Work closely with different departments of the Student Affairs division Use data modeling and machine learning to derive key insights from students’ data Use data modeling to predict students’ patterns and prescribe actions for decision making Produce data visualizations and insight reports for decision makers Other duties might be assigned
Minimum Qualification Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics
Preferred Qualification Preferably a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field Strong knowledge of analytics techniques like predictive, visualization and optimization Strong skills in web analytics
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience Strong skills in Python or R language with exposure across analytics tools Experience in educational information systems (Banner, Ellucian products or similar data and information systems) An excellent communicator, open to receiving feedback and able to communicate in a Multilanguage environment.
