Job purpose:
Responsible for repairing, installation and maintenance of the facility’s air conditioning systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Repairs air conditioning units by performing analysis and troubleshooting activities
• Test installed air conditioners to ensure that they are in proper working condition.
• Make a list of material and supplies needed for installation purposes and
order them from the required team.
• Performs maintenance activities such as cleaning AC grills and filters on installed
air conditioning systems.
• Replaces AC systems that are not in a fixable condition.
• Understands important safety related issues and provides daily reporting to the site supervisor.
• Make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic controls, clean blowers and coils with regular check of belts and motors.
• Record data when inspecting systems, such as temperature of equipment, fuel consumption and hours of operation.
• Responsible to recover and properly dispose of refrigerants when servicing air conditioning equipment since refrigerants can be harmful to the environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Management
