Job Description and Requirements
Accountable for procurement operations to the tune of AED 1Bn spend annually.
Developed the planning, project management, metrics, reporting tools to capture and
communicate progress to senior management.
Implement a credible supplier scorecard that included performance metrics, measurement
rules and basis, for all commodities addressed on a multi-company basis.
Lead regular meetings with Executive Steering Team, Operations Management, and
Procurement Leadership Team to track and report progress of the overall sourcing program,
each individual category of spend, and special projects.
Facilitated the adoption and execution of new origination, procurement, and contracting
practices including use of latest technology in the realm of procurement.
Lead efforts in establishing IMS Procurement Policy and Framework (Procurement of Material,
Subcontract and Supplier Selection Procedure, and Central Warehouse procedure.).
Adept in Global Sourcing with excellent market knowledge of suppliers locally as well as
internationally spread across China, Italy, Turkey, USA, UK, Qatar, Oman, France, Vietnam etc.
Lead the Procurement software (MX Dynamics)
implementation. Act as a super user advocating item coding, training to internal customers.
Ensure monthly and periodic reports are on schedule for management review and assure
organizational ethical standards and Code of Conducts are strictly adhered to.
Manage & Build Team of professionals with the right skill mix & impart training, setting up
departmental KPI, ensuring individual objective are align with management objective.
Plan and Execute robust procurement strategy for the Marketing department to meet company’s
objective of OOH, Print Media, PR Agency selection, Road Show, Events.
Prepare yearly event calendar and ensure the commercial process is in sync with approved
business process.
Act as a SPOC for internal and external stake holder in terms of resolving all issues pertaining
to procurement.
Well versed In Laws relating to Customs, Duty & Excise including various types of financial
Instruments being used globally for procurement.
