• Duration: 6 Months extendable
• Location: Onsite - Abu Dhabi
• Primary skills: Azure, Delta Lake, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Python/PySpark
• Should have at least 4 years of experience in data engineering.
• Should possess at least 3 years of UAE banking experience.
• Candidates with Azure data products and data warehouse experience will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data governance. Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Certifications (Preferred):
• Certified Data Integration Developer
• Azure Data Engineering Associate
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Data Integration: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes using Data Integration Studio. Create and optimize data workflows to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Data Architecture Design: Collaborate with data architects to design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes. Ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements and scalability needs.
• Data Governance and Quality: Implement data governance policies and standards to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Develop and maintain metadata repositories for data lineage and impact analysis.
