Oracle Functional Consultant required
• Location: Abu Dhabi
• Salary: AED 15,000 - AED 18,000
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Masters in Accounting/Finance or Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA,CPA would be preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil & gas industry (preferable)
• 10+ years’ experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant and experience in implementation, support & maintenance of Oracle ERP.
• Experience in (Oracle EBS R12 (12.1.3) and Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Inventory and I- Procurement Modules).
• Experience in implementing & supporting end-to-end core Oracle Order to Cash (OM, QP, INV, BOM, WSH, PO, AR) is essential.
• Design of key structures including chart of accounts, asset categories, ledgers etc.
• Business process mapping and extending Oracle ERP Functionalities.
• Analysis of business processes, re-engineering & implementation of solutions.
• Subledger customization, Hands-on configuration, and ability to de-bug.
• For any customized process, write the functional design document (MD020) and get it signed off from business.
• Learn, adopt and help improving ERP implementation standards, policies, governance, and operational procedures.
• Must have the flexibility of working with offshore, onsite, remote resources and establish sound communication channel.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business in other to understand business priorities and requirements.
• Identifying the appropriate software architecture for server-side as well as client-side solutions.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
• Maintain Oracle application roadmap, release schedules and architectural standards that ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Evaluate existing solutions to identify areas for improvement. Determine project timelines and complete work to deadlines.
Skills:
• Functional skills in proposing, designing optimal functional solutions leveraging by Best Practices.
• Skilled in delivering clear outcome-based targets and measures by working with a strong sense of urgency in getting the job done.
• Using Access Privilege Systems.
• Developed functional specifications test plans and test scenarios using AIM methodology.
• Additional experience in any Order to Cash, SCM, Financials, PA, Services, EB Tax.
• Test Scripts Skills, Custom Report Skills
