Job Summary:
As the accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close. You will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Prepare financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost reductions and revenue growth
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
