Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
Producing error free accounting reports and present their results
Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
Provide technical support and advice on management accounts
Review and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Manage accountants /assistants
Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast procedures
Provides input into department’s goals setting process.
Prepares financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Support month end and year end close process
Develop and documents business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen interbal controls.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accounting Principles GAAP principles.
Liase with chief accountant to improve financial procedures.
Performs any other task assigned by Financial Manager/ Immediate Superior.
المهارات
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or any related field.
Technical Skills:
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
With thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures/ accounting principles
The chartered accountant or an MBA finance background
With proven experience as an accounting supervisor or senior accountant for a minimum of 5 years
In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP
Awareness of business trends
Familiar with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month end/year end close process
With hands on experience with accounting software packages
