Accountable for the safe/sustainable engineering, quality, cost and schedule delivery of all work by the Project Team and Completes Piping technical work for projects, as per schedule. Technical experience and excellent people skills and make independent decisions and recommendations for several small independent projects Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of piping engineers and designers. Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Control, monitor and progress these deliverables to an agreed schedule. Checking and approval of engineering and design deliverables. Participate & drive key project reviews, plot plan reviews, HAZOP reviews, Material Handling, constructability review and design/model review meetings. Direct the work of both detail and design drafters and ensure the drawings are in accordance with the client’s requirements and the relevant project specifications Have the experience to participate in design review with clients and to advise on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as necessary. Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing a given work scope within time and budget constraints with optimized cost. Monitors all engineering, design, 3D model and CAD drafting activities to assure conformance with Client specifications, codes, and good engineering practice. Should handle internal and external project audits. Technical experience to prepare manhours estimation for different types of piping activities of different phases of the project like Select phase, FEED & Execution etc. Must have enough knowledge in piping layout, pipe routing, support design, stress analysis, MTOs control, material requisitions, bid evaluation and 3D design model reviews to be able to manage a team of specialists. Responsible for issue of all piping deliverable documents. Organize inputs and supervise for preparation general layout, equipment layout, key plans, support design, isometrics, material take offs, stress analysis, pipe material specifications and material requisitions. Responsible for the training and development of engineers in his/her Team. Feeds the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project Adherence to company processes and procedures. Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Engineering Above 15 years relevant work experience, 5 of which must be as a Lead design engineer in Oil and Gas industry. Diverse working experience in project management, conceptual and detailed design, and construction. Knowledge of Interdisciplinary Work Processes/Interface/Deliverables Development of Work Breakdown Structure/Activities List Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of Various facilities Possesses advanced computer skills.
