RESIDENT ENGINEER – UTILITIES
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising the master development activities; including infrastructure projects, third-party developments and community maintenance companies.
Directly responsible for community-wide compliance with the utilities masterplan and the connectivity between projects and utilities infrastructure.
Convene and chair regular site meetings with project teams.
Monitor the overall progress of the projects within the community and highlight any potential noncompliance or delays.
Provide assistance, information and advice to the Master Developer regarding Abu Dhabi Authorities’ approval processes and play a key role in coordination with the Government Authorities.
Write scope of works, administer tenders and manage the works related to community and infrastructure projects.
Provide recommendations to the Master Developer for claims and variation orders.
Review design packages submitted by the developers to ensure compliance with the community design guidelines and utilities infrastructure provisions.
Plan and participate in asset transfer processes with projects teams and relevant Governmental Agencies.
Prepare progress reports as applicable.
Coordinate and direct activities with the other discipline RE’s to maintain consistency and integrity in the overall community management.
Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site.
Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals.
Participate in contract administration.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
12+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience
Significant leadership and managerial experience of a large scale projects.
Excellent English written and oral communications skills
Thorough knowledge of the regulations and procedures of Abu Dhabi Authorities ( ADM, ADDC, …)
