OFFICE SPACE DESIGNER – INTERIOR DESIGN/FIT OUT
Role:
The Office Space Designer is responsible for creating sketches and graphic works, all CADD activities, interior & architectural design in consultation with key role players. He/She will support relevant workstreams within ORAT and report to the Client’s Space allocation Lead.
The office space designer will:
Assist in all design and provide the changes related to changes to ensure that all their submissions comply with ADAC CADD Standards.
Review and evaluate each submission for compliance and completeness, as well as in-house study drawings.
Prepare drawing and presentations and organize them in folders and upload to the Document Management System.
Assist all employees in CADD related works.
Provide options design on interior and architectural designs for space allocation.
Operate CADD and other systems related to interior design.
Support relevant workstreams within ORAT and report to ADAC Space allocation Lead
Ensure that all stakeholders’ operational spaces are identified and prepared for the start of operations in line with the overall ORAT programme from a facilities & equipment perspective
Responsibilities:
Engage stakeholders and supports the leads in the space readiness working group in the ORAT Facilities Workstream
Engage stakeholders to validate space allocations & FF&E;requirements into Room Data Sheets (RDS)
Develop space layouts (AutoCAD or similar) within the limitations of existing power & data provisions and ensure these are reviewed and accepted by stakeholders for Day 1operations.
Develop a central Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from the RDS to identify overall requirements. Agree budgeting and procurement responsibilities with each stakeholder
Centralize stakeholder procurement plans, track and monitor procurement and deployment activities
Define the FF&E;deployment plan and manage FF&E;deployment for stakeholder spaces
Facilitate stakeholder space take over with Property Management
Identify dependencies, key status and review milestones in line with the D-360, 180, 90, 60, 30 ORAT countdown to MTC opening.
Manage the resolution of all space allocation & FF&E;related issues, identifies and escalates any threats to the overall ORAT programme
Compile PPT for engagement with each stakeholder
Plan and execute all related site visits
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
المهارات
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent degree in CAD technology.
AutoCAD certification, rev. 10 or higher
Excellent computer skills / software knowledge (AutoCAD 2005; other CAD / graphic applications; MS Office).
Familiar with Bentley GC or Revit (BIM modelling), GIS (Geographic Information System) and working in BIM environments.
5+ years of AutoCAD experience with minimum five years on other interior and architectural design systems.
3+ years of experience on large buildings.
Effective written and oral communications skills.
International experience is preferred; knowledge of Middle East works practices preferable.
Must be a self-starter and able to work productively and efficiently within a large team environment.
Capable of adapting to demanding project conditions.
Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical and emergency construction operation engineering problem
Must be able to work under immense pressure and meet tight deadlines in order to avoid delays to the programme
Previous experience within the aviation field is an advantage
Must be able to communicate on all levels of the business
Project Management Qualification is desirable
