They have a team that is on a mission to make energy systems smart, flexible, and sustainable. We are now looking for a Senior Operations Manager to work alongside their international team that are at the forefront of transforming the energy sector. We’re looking for someone who’s excited about the challenges in scaling a small business, to a multi-regional and highly skilled team over the next 24 months. You’ll be joining the small but effective team in the business, the Operations team. This powerhouse of the business covers all business options including finance, compliance, legal and people. No two days are likely to be the same as our client is working on all the requirements for growing the business. They are essentially looking for someone who’s passionate about excellent operational processes, while being aligned with the businesses values, especially regarding collaboration and transparency. The Role Introducing scalable processes and controls to ensure the company can grow in a sustainable way. Managing and delivering on a wide range of key strategic projects such as setting up in key markets, ISO compliance, and being accountable for bringing the right people together to deliver. Understanding the local and cultural environment within the UAE and GCC Resolving operational issues, removing blockers for the wider business to succeed. Providing operational reporting and performance monitoring, helping set and then tracking against key performance indicators. Requirements The ideal candidate meets many - but not necessarily all - of the below criteria: Previous experience of managing internal operations for a scaling business, assessing operational capability gaps, introducing process improvements, and evidencing benefits. You have excellent project management skills: with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively across a complex array of tasks and projects. المهارات A team builder, having developed and expanded teams of people including mentoring colleagues. Strong focus on people and culture - recognising the importance of internal communication and transparency. You’re versatile and adaptable - good understanding legal contracts, regulations, and compliance, and implementing easy to use internal policies and procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills. You’re resourceful, resilient, and flexible, and will help clear the path for everyone to do their best work. You are an excellent communicator who can build relationships with teammates from different disciplines, making sure that everyone is clear about what’s required of them. You’re fluent in English, even if it’s not your first language. Experience in expanding a business across borders Experience in scale-up environments.
