English Teacher (Institute) - Temporary/Full Time

الوصف الوظيفي
We are seeking to appoint English teachers for the New 2022/23 academic year due to growth and increased student numbers.

Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master Degree in literature, Education, TESOL , ESOL, Applied Linguistics , or related fields with a teaching qualification/License like PGCE/TESOL/CELTA/TEFL/DELTA and minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching experience with Vocational or Further Education Institutions. Excellent Oral and written English is required at the level of Academic IELTS band 8 standard and demonstrated ability to enhance learning through effective integration of ICT into professional practice.

Required Competency

Experience in second language acquisition
Strategies to support English as a second language to students
Qualified as IELTS Examiners ( preferred)
Experience with Advanced Placement courses and exams
Experience with TOEFL
Experience in teaching Technical English
Familiarity with Web 2.0 Tools
Online teaching and learning skills using different applications

 Teaching and leadership skills

 Student-centered and project based learning

 Sufficient knowledge and skills to meet students’ needs who struggle with English.

 Exposure to international and national exams (such as EmSat, IELTS, TOEFL, ALCPT)

 Skills in teaching, writing teaching materials, assessment and curriculum development

 Familiarity with Web 2.0 Tools

 IC3 Qualification

 Ability to use digital skills and teach online
