Loss Prevention & Safety Engineer Abu Dhabi (9months temporary contract - Extendable)
The candidate should be an engineering graduate, preferably with a Chemical Engineering background, having 5-10 years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player. Job responsibilities will include:
• Development of HSE design basis/philosophy
• Estimation of firewater/ foam system demand calculations/ firewater P&IDs;• Preparation of technical specifications for firefighting and safety equipment
• Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
• Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
• Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
• Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc.
• Experience in Safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP etc.
• Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids
