HSE Manager

OPPORTUNITY
Parsons provides project management, design and technical advice to a design and build contractor for construction of a world class promenade with 65,000 sq. meters of water front hard and soft landscaping. The primary feature of the project is the installation of a cycleway that provides cyclist circulation around the entirety of the islands. The design includes a public park with playgrounds, courts, water features and others.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to P&D;Health, Safety and Environmental standards across all aspects of the program and auditing CMA / CMR for proper implementation of Safety controls.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the effective implementation, monitoring and measurement of P&D;’s Health, Security and Environmental Policies within the program.
Report on the Program’s compliance with P&D;’s Health, Security and Environmental Policies to the P&D;HSE manager.
Ensure the successful implementation of P&D;’s environmental management system, ensuring all requirements are understood by all personnel.
Provide standards, tools, methodology and guidance on HSE to program managers and personnel.
Provide direction to designated Safety Officers.
المهارات
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Professional affiliation/ registration to relevant and internationally recognised HSE authorities (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA etc.)
At least 10 years of relevant experience in HSE supervision and management of large-scale urban development, public realm and infrastructure projects.
Adept in latest international HSE practices, guidelines, and relevant local safety policies.
Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in performance of duties.
Excellent written, oral communication skills, and presentation skills.
