Laundry Attendant

الوصف الوظيفي
·Receive, sort, tag, mark, and keep records of all articles that come to laundry for washing and dry cleaning.

· Sort articles and separate them for washing and dry cleaning.

· Operate, upkeep, and clean laundry equipment after every use.

· Use appropriate cleaning agents, methods, detergents, and other material as directed by the Line Manager and/or as appropriate for articles. Carefully select the washing/dry cleaning method and cleaning agent according to the articles’ type material, color, texture, and client’s requirement.

· Iron articles using different method such as dry or steam. Fold or hang articles using appropriate protective wrappings and store carefully.

· Keep stock of material and maintain inventory of cleaning materials. Notify Line Manager when stocks need replenishment.

· Comply with duty roster and carryout tasks as assigned. Take initiative and ask Line Manager in case of any ambiguity to treat a special article for cleaning.

· Respond to client’s queries/concerns quickly, effectively and meeting the expectations of the client.

· Comply with Health and Safety procedures and precautions to avoid damage to human and assets.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager

المهارات
Knowledge of various laundry equipment for their operations, technical properties, and level of use.

Knowledge of various laundry detergents and supplies and appropriate use for different types of washing.

Knowledge of various cleaning agents/chemicals and their safety

Hazards and special storage requirements.
