Understands project requirements in accordance with applicable requirements, specifications, and international codes and standards including ISO, 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3834, ASME (U, U2, PP, S), NB (R) and EN 1090 FPC.
Executes essential welding-related tasks in accordance with ISO 3834 (As per Annex B of ISO 14731) to be considered when appropriate
Prepares welding procedures specifications and welder qualification records
Decide and execute quality control activities on the shop floor in accordance with the client requirement as well as standard code requirements.
Responsible for inspection, checking, or witnessing of various welding activities
Responsible for releasing hold points related to welding activities.
Coordinate and cooperates with Yard Manager, supervisor, QC inspections Project Engineer and Client / TPI for all inspection activities to ensure that all operations/activities related to projects are executed as per requirements of Customer and as evidence maintain inspection records.
Identifies and reports of Non-conforming processes and product, raise a non-Conformance report and get them resolved accordingly.
Coordinates with Operation Manager to identify rejection and rework cost and percentage.
Promotes Quality awareness of Client-focused attitude throughout the organization.
Ensures compliance with Denholm Yam Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems
