Position: E&I;Commissioning Engineer
Contract: Direct Hire to client

Work Hours: 10 hrs / 6 days a week

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Reviews contractual documentation.
• Reviews engineering documents to insure that the commissioning & startup requirements are accounted for in the design.
• Prepares and keeps up-to-date the pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans (including the schedule and the mobilization of personnel and equipment).
• Prepares the pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Prepares the performance test procedures.
• Interact and negotiate with client on commissioning goals and guidelines.
• Promote company standards by ensuring accuracy of systems results.
• Manage and update records and reports related to the commissioning and start-up of the equipments.
• Participate actively in diverse operational aspects of project commissioning.
• Assess and delegate resolution of issues.
• Assists procurement group for the definition of vendor assistance.
• Manages the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.
• Prepares the commissioning progress reports to the project management.
• Coordinates assistance of the Vendor representatives.
• Supervises the performance tests.
• Assists the Project Manager with Client representatives for the handover of the plant.
• Ensures the preparation of final reports and certificates.
