Design / Technical Manager

الوصف الوظيفي
A Design Manger will be in charge of projects design, his main role is supervise Team Leaders and Designer in producing shop drawings, materials take off, fabrication drawings and as built for one and/or various project, supporting Project Managers, including Pre & Post-tendering activities, and providing leadership to his teams.

Responsibilities:

· Review actual project documents and Client requirements verses tender documents and advice changes if any.

· Overseeing the design process, managing, developing and training his subordinates.

· Participate pre and post bid meetings as required in order to present technical knowledge with Clients and provide support to project team.

· Obtain approvals in coordination with project’s team and update planning logs.

· Insure submission of presentable drawings to clients in timely manner.

· Prepare report (weekly/ monthly) illustrating actual submittals against planned activities.

· Liaising among different departments [Estimation, procurement, planning and project management].
