Purpose
Automation governance manager is responsible for planning and managing all the automations across the bank, working closely with all teams to ensure timely implementation. Automation governance manager works closely with all the key stakeholders from business units, vendors and IT functions. This function is also responsible for automation implementation through external vendors as required. The Automation Governance Manager bears the responsibility to ensure that right automation opportunities are prioritized for the implementation. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working on process streamlining using Lean Six Sigma etc, and understanding of automation technologies i.e. UI Path as well as a strong business analytical background.
Description
Facilitate ideation / discovery workshops/ process analysis to identify the right automation opportunities.
Apply the pre-defined framework for prioritizing list of RPA processes which maximizes value for the organization ·
Lead process reengineering/ process design workshops to ensure current state processes are optimized using Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC / Kaizen prior to process automation.
Ensure roobofit and governance processes and procedures are followed Accenture + Gerab + in-house ·
Ensure robofit and governance procedures are followed across all processes. (Vendors like Accenture + Gerab + in-house) ·
Ensure all the relevant documents (robofit + process related documents + key emails) are updated and maintained regularly in the Automation Studio portal ·
Manage program dependencies, mitigate risks, and provide weekly updates to the Head of Automation Studio ·
Periodic review of automation initatives managed by Operations and ensure the governance principles and touchpoints are adhered to ·
Review and monitor the overall project plan provided for each automation opportunity ·
Periodic review of inflight projects with implementation partner to ensure on time , in scope , within budget implementation
Work closely with IT, Control Functions (i.e. Op Risk, Compliance) and business to get all the inputs needed during all the phases e.g. application know how/access, Control Sign offs ·
Review complexity provided by vendors and validate level of complexity provided ·
Achieve consensus for recommended automation scope across all the stakeholders and resolve challenges, gaps etc. ·
Update, Review and Monitor the overall budget and per automation budgets ·
Maintain inventory of reusable components and ensure this is shared across Accenture, Gerab + In - house ·
Prepare periodic reports / presentations for management review - Weekly, monthly and adhoc reports as required ·
Prepare business case documents / management presentations as required ·
Prepare/ update content and conduct periodic Business champions training ·
Manage overall communication approach, themes and templates along with inputs from the marketing team (Portal updation, launch event, BC Meet ups, open day, hackathons etc) ·
Work with other business units and operations to execute the communication plan.
