Our client is now recruiting for a Researcher (UAE National) to draft white papers, reports and articles for the company in Arabic languages. The role of the researcher entails drafting research pieces, analysis and synthesis of content, data visualization, and deliver insights about the young Arabs.
Expected role:
Gathering and analyzing academic and policy research; statistical data; or implementation information;
Participating in interviews with various stakeholders;
Conducting extensive web-based research;
Writing white papers and articles, with a focus on summarizing research and policy information so it is understandable to a broad audience;
Supporting and potentially co-authoring policy briefs;
Developing written and graphical presentations of research;

Candidate requirements:
The candidate must truly enjoy research and is able to quickly identify data sources, pick up relevant information and synthesize complex and confounding information into simple insights.
Excellent command of written Arabic language
Good knowledge of News & Current Affairs in the Arab world
Interest in the youth development field
Minimum 2 years of experience in the research field (including writing white papers, articles, and research pieces in Arabic)
Strong analytical skills
Educational background in journalism, international affairs or political science is preferred
General Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment and interest in the development of Arab Youth.
Good understanding of Arab youth main challenges, and the structural implications of income, racial, and ethnic disparities on communities, families, youth and individuals.
Strong research, analysis, communication, and writing/editing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Office/administrative experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work on multiple detail-oriented tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
