IT Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements:

1.  3-5+ years’ experience in IT

2.  Experienced user of macOS, Windows and Linux family operation systems

3.  Excellent understanding of hardware and software working principles

4.  Excellent communication skills (English)

5.  Problem-solving skills

6.  Familiar with DevOps, SRE principles

7.  Practical skills and experience in the following areas and technologies:

· OS: Windows servers (2008/2012/2016), macOS, Linux and Unix family

· Linux Server software and apps

· Virtualization platforms, technologies, tools

· DevOps/Continuous integration (Jira, Git, Jenkins, Docker)

· Storages and Databases

· Backup, Logging and monitoring solutions

· Linux/Windows Scripting

· Windows infrastructure solutions: Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, Office 365, Exchange, IIS, WSUS, etc.

· Cisco networking solutions

· Encryption, OS and hardware security hardening

· Provisioning tools

Optional:

1.  Microsoft, Cisco, Linux certificates

2.  Good understanding of security principles, modern cyberattack vectors

3.  Training certificates

4.  A technical, logical thought process

5.  An ability to stick to strict deadlines

6.  An ability to prioritize tasks

7.  A keen eye for detail

8.  Degree in Computer Science, Computing or Engineering

Responsibilities:

1.  Infrastructure planning, testing, and development

2.  IT Projects planning and performance management

3.  Maintenance and troubleshooting

4.  Recommend and implement solutions. Be totally hands on and have the ability to work independently

5.  Ensure delivery of exceptional technical solutions

6.  Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging processes, techniques and tools

7.  Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

8.  Develop and implement IT policies, user guides

9.  Follow modern DevOps/SRE principles to build reliable and secure IT infrastructure
