Job Responsibilities
Liaise with Engineers
Keep up-to-date with CAD and GIS development and software
Preparation of design and shop drawings.
Preparation of layout, profile, cross section, standard details, etc. drawings.
Preparation of As Built Drawings (CAD & GIS) as per ADM requirements.
Interchange data between CAD and GIS.
Ensure proper backup and archiving.
Ensure standard presentation.
Ensure Department’s requirements are followed.
Ensure compatibility with Department’s archiving system.
Checks layout and drawings for accuracy, relationship of one part to another, and relation of various parts to the whole drawing.
Completes additional duties as assigned.
Qualification/Experience/Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and minimum three (3) years post graduate experience in Landscape CAD/GIS operator.
Or, Diploma in Engineering and minimum five (5) years post graduate experience in Landscape CAD/GIS operator.
Or, Certificate / Diploma in drafting and minimum seven (7) years post graduate experience in Landscape CAD/GIS operator.
At least 3 years of direct and related experience on landscape projects related to parks, public realm, and others.
Relevant IT skills / computer literate.
Good command of English (communication and writing skills).
Must be available in UAE.
