Job Description and Requirements The Librarian has a passion for education and working with children. You will support children with particular needs, working with them individually or in small groups. The Librarian will help students evaluate their abilities, interest, talents, and personalities to develop realistic academic and career goals and promote the academic, career, personal, and social development of the student. MAIN ACCOUNT-ABILITIES: Recognise students’ learning needs and to communicate these effectively to other professionals Ensure that appropriate standards of student discipline are maintained in the Library/Resource Centre, including during break time, lunch time and after school sessions Ensure that the library centre presents an attractive and exciting image to visitors, in particular potential pupils and their parents Maintain accurate records of stocks
Bachelor in Librarian Information / Studies Diploma in Librarian Information / Studies 1 – 2 years’ experience as a Librarian in an Education Field Flexibility, personal initiative and skills in prioritisation of tasks.
