Uphold the mission, vision and values of COMPANY, perform and ensure all clinical processes, policies and standards of care are carried out and delivered towards patients through collaborative efforts with the whole Nursing, Rehabilitation and other disciplines pertaining to management, care and patient’s safety prescribed by the JCIA.

I. Clinical Practice
1. Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process within established hospital, divisional and unit specific policies and procedures, standards, protocol.
2. Establishes priorities of care, nursing actions and desired out come in clinical care for all patients.
3. Works within the policy of Homecare to deliver the mission, vision and core value of the organization.
4. Assumes responsibility in delivering quality, nursing care and advocacy for patient’s welfare through demonstration of evidence based practice.
5. Performs Nursing duties within clinical scope of practice and professional code of conduct as directed by Nursing Administration, DOH PQR and UAE Nursing norms.
6. Provides care through demonstration of appropriate knowledge and clinical assessment skills relevant to Homecare and performs their role according to best practice competency frameworks and professional knowledge and experience.
7. Assumes personal and professional responsibility towards initial and annual completion of Clinical competencies and license registration.
8. Promotes continuity of patient care through oral and written communication to the multidisciplinary team according to the needs of the patient.
9. Demonstrates direct and appropriate action in urgent and emergency situations and demonstrate ability for decision making and leadership.
10. Ensures continuity of patient care through oral and written communication to the multidisciplinary team according to the needs of the patient as well as establishing a collaborative interaction with the patient’s families.
11. Documents all assessment, interventions, and other necessary information in the patient’s medical record according to COMPANY policy and international standards of documentation.
12. Demonstrates high level of infection prevention knowledge and actions in the Homecare setting and reports any issue according to BHCS policy and Infection framework.
II. Administration:
1. Addresses issues using a problem solving framework. Initiates the nursing or medical/administrative chain of command if unable to resolve issues satisfactorily.
2. Liaisons with other health care team members and departments to provide continuity of patient care outcomes.
3. Acts as a role model and resources for junior staff in the delivery of BHCS Homecare mission and vision and core values.
III. Education and Research:
1. Acts as a preceptor and/or mentor for new employees, trainees and other staff.
2. Assumes responsibility for own professional growth identifying those areas of clinical knowledge and skills that need further development.
3. Assumes responsibility for ensuring completion of CME’s in accordance to DOH requirements for their role.
4. Attends/Performs educational presentations, trainings and seminars as required by the
nursing administration.
IV. Quality:
1. Anticipates and acts to maintain a safe environment within the patient’s home and surrounding places where patient is exposed.
2. Ensure that all Practices are as per JCI standards, DOH regulations and Homecare policy
3. Evaluates own care, those provided by others, the care system and continuously seeks ways to improve clinical care and initiatives.
4. Participate in unit specific quality audits or improvement initiatives as well as implementation of action plans.
V. OSHMS Responsibilities:
1. Comply with the established Homecare OSHMS procedures of which they have been informed, instructed and trained.
2. Actively participate along with line management towards implementation of OSHMS requirements
3. Report to the respective manager any potentially hazard, unsafe act or condition, which may cause OSH impacts
4. Report all OSH hazard, near miss and incidents to the respective line manager.

1. Maintains own regulation in country of origin and DOH licensing
2. Serves as a professional role model, teacher and resource person.

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing or equivalents Essential
Licensure/Registration
Required
1. Valid DOH Licensed
2. License to practice in Home country/country where degree was obtained
3. Valid BLS Certificate
Preferred
1. Other courses and certificates Pertaining to healthcare certificate of specialization
Experience:
1. Minimum two (2 years clinical experience post qualification
Skills/Competencies Required
1. English Language Skills: Proficient in spoken, written and comprehension
2. Arabic Language Skills: Beneficial
3. Computer Skills: basic level – Essential.
4. Ability to operate and use clinical devices as required instructed and trained.
5. Ability to provide safe and proper clinical healthcare
6. Is generally organized and able to work independently
7. Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development and professional practice.
8. Evidence of personal qualities of self-awareness and sensitivity to others.
