Responsible for leading the recruitment, training and management of the world’s best esports players. You will develop and lead esports teams who will compete and succeed at the world’s biggest events.

Description
Actively recruit professional players to participate under the teams within the newly created esports brandDevelop multi-year global esports team strategyLead esports strategy and build consensus with key stakeholdersManage and optimize external partnerships with tournament organizers, players, vendors, and other esports related organizations and cultivate new relationships as neededIdentify and champion new gaming titles for inclusion into esports initiativesRenewing contracts or signing new contracts with pro gamersOversee the operations for existing esports programs and support participation in consumer, trade, and esports eventsTrack and report team status and KPIs in a timely and consistent mannerResearch, survey and deliver event post-mortems to optimize future event and team improvementsWork with E-Sports Event Director to secure sponsorship opportunitiesPurchase, maintain, troubleshoot, replace both hardware and software applications to stay ahead of competitionManage the day-to-day operations for players as neededCoordinate content production (social media/live streaming) surrounding the playersOversee and educate players on sponsored content and campaignsInterface with tournament organizers to maintain competitive standardsArrange travel logistics for playersAttend relevant meetings hosted by companyOccasionally travel when necessary to events alongside players
Profile
Requires a minimum of (5+) years competitive/successful experience with a variety of game titles including: League of Legends, OverWatch, Dota 2, Fortnite, CSGO, Arena of Valor, Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, Magic: The Gathering, Battlegrounds etc.A minimum of (5+) years competitive experience managing an esports team with a track record of successful achievementsAbility to develop, communicate, and champion strategies and plansExcellent knowledge and following on livestreaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook LiveDevelop, maintain and track overall esports budget(s), familiar with the P&L;process & analysis is a plusEvent, and/or tournament planning, management, and budget experienceAble to interface effectively with a variety of people, including casual gamers, professional gamers, spectators, and business professionalsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyDevelop, maintain and track overall esports budget(s), familiar with the P&L;process & analysis is a plusCreate and seek out partnership & sponsorship opportunitiesActive leader or participant within esports communitiesDesirable to have experience in sports or esports live video production and broadcastingDesirable to have presentation, teaching, or other public speaking experienceFamiliar with game development and designCurrently maintain existing relationships with influencers and professionals in esportsAbility to maintain positive interpersonal relationshipsAbility to travel, including international travelBachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience
